The 2018/19 season is over for the League One sides, so we’ve taken a look at every club’s average attendance.
A total of 4,894,052 supporters attended third tier matches in the 2018/19 season, around 600,000 up on the previous season.
With the ever-changing fortunes of our beloved clubs, we take a look at how well each League One side faired in getting supporters through the turnstiles.
Here’s the list from ranked least to most, some are predictable, some are surprising: –
24) ACCRINGTON
The average attendance at Accrington Stanley’s Wham Stadium for the 2018/19 season was 2,764.
They had 1,979 for the 2017/18 season.
23) FLEETWOOD
The average attendance at Fleetwood Town’s Highbury Stadium for the 2018/19 season was 3,165.
They had 3,140 for the 2017/18 season.
22) BURTON
The average attendance at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium for the 2018/19 season was 3,351.
They had 4,645 for the 2017/18 season.
21) ROCHDALE
The average attendance at Rochdale’s Spotland for the 2018/19 season was 3,550.
They had 3,503 for the 2017/18 season.
