An Everton source claim they are scouting the duo this season and intend to closely monitor their development throughout the season.

19 year old Politic has earned many a rave review to help pick up some points for Bolton in the hope they can perform a miracle in staying up after being hit with a twelve point deduction. They now sit on minus five after twelve games played.

He has also earned interest from Aston Villa, Wolves and Rangers in the Romania youth international during his 11 appearances for the Trotters, getting the ball in the back of the net against Rochdale and Bradford in the Carabao Cup and EFL Trophy. He previously played nine matches for Salford City and managed to score twice.

Ronan Darcy scored his first senior goal in the 5-2 Carabao Cup defeat against Rochdale. He has come through the youth ranks and had one of those forced to play first team matches whilst the club struggled financially, before they went and signed nine players on deadline day.

Football Insider add: “Everton have the resources to make Bolton offers they could not refuse for their two rising stars, but they would need to convince them of a pathway to their first team.”

Lion of Vienna Suite, a Bolton website, say: “Both look to have bright futures in the game & lets hope that its with Wanderers.

“Thankfully, we’re not in a position anymore where we have to sell our prize assets to keep the club afloat. We’ve lost too many players for fees less than their worth in recent times.”
