After finding out that Arsenal are to offer Granit Xhaka couselling after his confrontation with the home supporters, fans took to give their reaction, some defended the player and others joked…

I want counselling for watching his deadout performances every week. Jesus wept.

Well he reads that situation better than he reads the game

Counseling ???? that's about as a joke as the club itself

He’s bloody human. Try going in to your work place and have every one criticise you when you are having a bad time. Mentally to anyone that is hard. Just cos he’s a footballer doesn’t make him a robot with no feelings. #MentalHealthAwareness

@ESCLewisUK: He wasn’t in the wrong – these fans give him dogs abuse every week (even before he was captain) and he is by far not their worst player.
@mat468: arsenal fans always have to have a scapegoat. Xhaka now. Was Mustafi. Was Ozil. Was Mertesacker. The list goes on and on and on. Should never boo one of your own players like that during a game. Only if they are openly not trying or literally aiding your defeat purposely.
@meandonlyme67: Fair play, their fans were wrong in my opinion went too far! He’s a man on his own surrounded by thousands abusing him! Someone tell me that’s OK- footballers or not it’s not OK.
@PatrickDCullen: Good. Having 60,000 of your own fans booing you, receiving death threats against yourself, your wife and unborn child. I’m glad he’s getting help. Disgusted by some of our fans. Best of luck Granit.
@roystyn: Offering Xhaka a transfer would be a better option.
@hall_robert: Counselling ? What a Loada bollocks . The poor love can’t take criticism he’s in the wrong job
