Arsenal player pictured inhaling ‘hippy crack’ despite previous warning

Arsenal player Alexandre Lacazette has been pictured inhaling ‘hippy crack’ despite receiving a previous warning for using it.

The Gunners’ bosses were left angry 18 months ago for the striker’s use of nitrous oxide.

Reports from the Daily Star claim Lacazette video recorded himself and text his friends saying he was “at home, chilling and doing balloons”.

In August 2018, a group of Premier League players including Lacazette, Matteo Guendouzi, Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were videoed passing out after inhaling the gas.

The footballers partied with 70 girls at the Tape nightspot in London days before the start of the season.

Arsenal’s hierarchy were keen to “reminded them of their responsibilities” and will now have to deal with another similar incident.

They have declined to comment while Lacazette was yet to respond.

Raheem Sterling, Kyle Walker and Jack Grealish have all previously been spotted inhaling the gas.

It is not illegal to possess nitrous oxide gas, used as a painkiller for dental patients, although it has been attributed to deaths.

It can lead to oxygen deprivation and its sale is banned to under-18s if there is a risk they will inhale it.

Several of Lacazette’s teammates Nicolas Pepe, Granit Xhaka and David Luiz have also been criticised for breaking lockdown rules during the coronavirus pandemic.
