Another night, another FA Cup upset

It was the second night of FA Cup replays and once again we’ve seen another upset by a non league side over a team from the EFL.

Yesterday we saw National League side FC Halifax Town beat League Two side Morecambe 1-0 and National League South’s Slough Town defeat Sutton United, from a league above, 8-7 on penalties.

This evening, National League side Barnet came back back from 1-0 down to beat Bristol Rovers, from League One, 2-1.

Hartlepool United were seconds from beating Gillingham 2-1, however the Gills nicked an equaliser. Extra-time saw three more goals, but it was the side from Kent that came away with a win, beating Pools 4-3.

Salford City couldn’t find an upset however after they lost 3-1 to Shrewsbury Town.
