Ally McCoist leaves Laura Woods in stitches when asking for sex advice live on talkSPORT amid the BBC One sex noise debacle.
Pre-match analysis of the FA Cup replay was interrupted by the well known noise that have been pranking the public for many years over time.
Gary Lineker and his colleagues Alan Shearer, Paul Ince and Danny Murphy tried to ignore it but couldn’t hide their amusement from viewers who watched on in surprise.
Jarvo, a controversial YouTuber, claimed the responsibility for the prank. He taped a mobile phone to one of the chairs and set the ringtone to the moaning woman.
Lineker joked that Harvey Elliott’s winner wasn’t the only one who screamed the night away.
talkSPORT’s Laura Woods and Ally McCoist also gave their opinion on the gone viral moment, and the Scot himself is now trending on Twitter.
😳 Ally: “On ITV we only get a cup of tea… they’re having the time of their life!”
👀 Laura: “Can you explain the sound?”
😅 Ally: “Sadly I’ve never heard that kind of sound in my life!”

Speaking on Breakfast show, Woods said: “I brought a SWAT team in here this morning to double-check every single chair, everyone’s device, nothing is leaking in this studio in terms of audio, or hopefully anything else!”
McCoist: “I thought for a minute, I wasn’t too happy because I’m watching it while I was actually at the Pink Floyd tribute concert.
“But when I saw the highlights of it, I’m looking at Gary, and I know Danny Murphy is in the studio.
“And I’m thinking to myself, ‘that’s unbelievable. On ITV we only get a cup of tea, they are having the time of there life there! Danny’s having the time of his life!’”
Woods: “Is that where all of our taxpayers money goes?”
McCoist: “I think so! At ITV we only get a cup of tea and maybe a sandwich, and they are getting added perks like that, that’s incredible.”
McCoist: “Sadly I’ve never heard that! I’ve never heard those kind of sounds in my life! The only time I’ve heard that is on the phone!”
Woods: “So basically it was the top of the show, the guys were in the studio, it was the FA Cup third round replay, Gary Lineker was hosting it.
“It was Wolves against Liverpool, and Danny Murphy was just in mid flow with explaining just his thoughts on football really, and you know that thing when someone pranks you, you open your phone and turn it up really loud, and then it’s a woman enjoying herself, sexually.”
McCoist: “Enjoying herself? She was having the time of her life!
“I’m going to say it, I’m going to put my cards on the table, guys have got to message us this morning, because I’ve got an admission to make, for the best part of 40 years I must been doing it wrong!
“Because I’ve not heard that. I’ve been doing it wrong for 40 years!”
There’s no way someone just got the sex noise text live on BBC One pic.twitter.com/W0LtPKUyf0

Woods: “I’ll be honest with you, I think if that’s the standard, we’ve all been doing it wrong!”
Giving his praise for how Jarvo produced the prank, McCoist seemingly asks for tips.
He says: “I mean that is genius, they’ve thought about that.
“Did they (BBC pundits) try and talk over it? Because there was no talking over that lady. She was on a different planet.
“I know this probably isn’t the show for it, but what brings that on? Is it a move that brings that on? Listeners, we want to know, is there a move that can bring that noise in real life.”
Here’s how social media users reacted as Ally McCoist leaves Laura Woods in stitches when asking for sex advice amid the BBC sex noise debacle…
@fredkerley: I, like millions of others found it funny at the time. However surely the @BBC should be deeply concerned that a device (mobile phone) was later found on the set. What if it had been something more sinister?
@michaelpoole6: Ally is class. The inner perv was getting out near the end
@JoelMoore93: Is there a move! Ally never change 😂😂
@AdamJTWhite: Ally was ready to risk it all at the end 🤣
@Saunders7: What the world needs is Ally McCoist and Wayne Mardle on the show together. Two of the greatest all round people in sports commentary 🫶🏼
@robishere1987: I just wish ally mccoist was on the BBC last night it would of been hilarious to see his face at that time

@AlexanderFoxEtc: My new fave Ally McCoist moment. All Ally wants is to talk about sex noises. All @laura_woodsy wants is to be subtler. Ally then admits that he’s done sex wrong for 40 years, doesn’t know how to pleasure a woman, and asks men to text in to offer him tips. O Captain my Captain 🫡
@JoshCrook9: Ah ally McCoist is a gift 😂😂
@14Livi: Ally McCoist is an absolute legend man 😂😂😂😂
