Shocking allegations have been made that married Dimitri Payet ‘forced his mistress to drink her urine and also assaulted her’.
Payet, a 38-year-old former Premier League footballer now playing for Vasco da Gama in Brazil, is under police investigation for alleged physical and psychological violence against Larissa Ferrari, a 28-year-old lawyer he reportedly had a seven-month affair with.
In her account, she talks about the trauma caused by this involvement and encourages other women to report violence against women.
The accusations include forcing Ferrari to drink her own urine, lick the floor, and physically assaulting her by pushing and stepping on her.
Payet, who left his wife and four children in France, allegedly began “punishing” Ferrari after a December argument, prompting her to seek police protection. Payet has not yet commented on the allegations.

Larissa, a lawyer, first met Payet back in August 2024. But she has said that he vowed to start ‘punishing’ her after a row in December, causing her to seek ‘protective measures’ from the police, as per Agence France Presse.
Larissa said: “I was attacked by Dimitri Payet, and this has left marks on my body.
“I have suffered physical, moral, psychological and sexual violence.
“We had our first dispute in December, and he began saying he would punish me.
“He asked me to prove my love for him in humiliating ways – by drinking my own urine, licking the floor and drinking water from a toilet.
“He filmed me doing these things. He pushed me about, walked over me and made veiled threats.
“I want justice to be done. He abused my mental vulnerability to take sexual advantage of me.
“I am a lawyer, and I would never make such serious accusations lightly.”
Police in Rio said: ‘The investigation is ongoing. The complaint was registered at a police station specializing in assistance to women.
According to the police report, Larissa said she was ‘assaulted by Dimitri Payet, leaving marks on her body, and suffered physical, moral, psychological and sexual violence’.
In March, Larissa revealed that they had had a seven-month affair, saying in a statement issued: ‘One thing I want to make clear is that it was never about money. There was no need for it.
‘There’s not much I can say because there’s no explanation or anything to justify it.
‘But one thing I want to make extremely clear is that it was never for money, not before, not now. In fact, the last time I went to Rio, I went by bus.’
Larissa, a Mum of two, also claimed that she only got physically involved with Payet after her divorce from her ex-husband.
She added: ‘Our intention, initially, wasn’t for us to become so attached to each other, but we ended up getting very involved.
‘We got very close because I got divorced and he gets lonely a lot too. With so much closeness, the meetings became more frequent.
‘I would go to Dimitri’s house every 12 days or so, and stay for three or four days.
‘He has also always been very affectionate towards me, both in person and through messages.
‘And with so much affection exchanged, it was impossible not to become attached to each other.’
Larissa ended her statement by saying sorry to her family, then adding she will stay away from social media for a while to ‘have some peace’.
In another Instagram post, say wrote: “I am deeply grateful to my family, friends, CAPS, public defender (along with the psychologist) and women’s police station in my city for all the support, care and guidance for my recovery from the pain and treatment of my Borderline disorder.”
Anderson Santos wrote via Instagram: “Larissa has received harsh criticism and insults from Vasco fans who do not agree with the exposure of her story.
“In a shocking testimony, she reveals that, in some situations, she was forced to drink water from the toilet as a form of punishment due to the player’s jealousy.
“Her case quickly gained prominence on the country’s major gossip pages, and Larissa has been seeking medical support to deal with the emotional consequences of the experience.
“It is an important reminder about the violence and challenges faced by women in abusive relationships, and Larissa’s courage in sharing her story can help many others seek help and support. 💔✊🏼”
