Allan Saint-Maximin posts hilarious tweet with Newcastle takeover ‘just hours away’

Allan Saint-Maximin posts a hilarious tweet and it’s all to do with the Newcastle takeover which is ‘just hours away’ from completion.

The 24 year old certainly woke up on the happy side on Thursday morning amid rumours that the Magpies’s takeover is looking like finally being done.

The Daily Mail reported on Wednesday night that PIF’s deal to buy Newcastle was now at a very advanced stage.

It is widely expected that Newcastle will be under new ownership within just a matter of days, if not hours, given the club a new hope of optimism for it’s future considering Steve Bruce’s side in the Premier League relegation zone.

And Saint-Maximin showed his typical humour on social media after posting a very funny video on the social media platform.

Sky Sports News reporter Keith Downie says the agreement reached on Wednesday could lead to the Saudi takeover of Newcastle getting the go-ahead.

He said: “There is growing confidence on Tyneside tonight that the £300m takeover, led by Amanda Staveley and backed by the Sovereign Wealth Fund of Saudi Arabia, could finally be pushed through, after 18 months of talks.

“That comes after a resolution was agreed between beIN Sports and the Gulf State over the illegal streaming of Premier League football in Saudi Arabia.

“[Wednesday’s] developments could bring us closer to an agreement between the Premier League and the consortium themselves.

“What must happen now, is that it must the ratified by the Premier League.

“That was the issue last summer. when the Saudi element of the consortium didn’t pass the owners’ and directors’ test, with the Premier League looking for further information.

“It’s our understanding that some of the elements have been agreed and this takeover could be pushed through sooner rather than later.”

As Allan Saint-Maximin posts a hilarious tweet with the Newcastle takeover ‘just hours away’, fans have given their reaction…

@SpewingMagpie: For non #NUFC fans, we don’t expect to sign Haaland or Mbappe in January. We don’t expect to win the league next season. We just want Newcastle United back.

@99Cotters: Can’t wait to hear players who’ve never heard of Newcastle start claiming it was always a dream to play for them………..

@NUFCRyxn: ALLAN FACETIME YOUR MATE MBAPPE AND SHOW HIM OUR BRIDGES

@ToonMouthTyne: Allan laaaaad! Does this mean we’ve got you for life? 🙏 🙏 🙏

@NUFC_LEW: ALLLLLANNNNNNN KNOWSSS WERE FUCKING RICHHHH

@davidpick1987: If you’ve just seen Brucey with a box of stationery and photo frames, nows the time to let us know.

@MasonNUFC_: OMFG AHAHAHAHAH YOURE CLASS

@Kevin_Nichol: All Newcastle fans feared the worst, thought you’d be sold in the summer. Now with new owners we can build a new team around you Allan. What a tome this could be to be involved at #nufc

@themagicbeatle: I don’t care about being the richest club in the world. I just want to dream about going to @wembleystadium with a chance of winning. That’s all I’ve wanted as an #NUFC fan. That’s our expectation. #NUFCTakeover

@tfalex1892: Today should be the last day of Mike Ashley we ever have to suffer . It’s been so bad for so long, the longest continuous period of pain in the club’s history – nearly all of the last 14 years has been horrific. Today should be the start of what’s next. Newcastle United are back

@POTUSMark: Playing with haaland soon lad

@Stubamford86: Good on the Newcastle fans… but be prepared for all the negative and slanderous coverage you’re about to start getting

@bryansmith123: Unfortunately we’ve been getting that off a few disgruntled pundits/presenters for years (most notably Richard Keys). I’m not even wanting to be a massively rich club, I just want to us to play some good football and not be battling relegation every year

@chelsea4lyfe93: Big stadium. Big fanbase. Big takeover. Newcastle United. Well deserved. #NUFCTakeover #nufctakover #NUFC

@losblancocarlo: Clubs like Newcastle deserve this, better than Oil City
