Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist slam Dele Alli live on talkSPORT for turning up at his new club Everton in a Rolls Royce this week.
Dele joined the Toffees on the final day of the January transfer window from Tottenham Hotspur and is looking to reignite his career again.
Alan Brazil has randomly taken issue with the 25 year old however, claiming he shouldn’t be turning up to training in such an extravagant car.
š šš¹š®š»: āI want Alli playingā¦but heās arrived in a Rolls Royce! Donāt do that!ā
š¤·āāļø šš¹š¹š: āI donāt think youāre wrong but weāre a completely different generation.ā

“It didn’t annoy me but I want to see the guy playing his football again…” Brazil said during a conversation with Ally McCoist.
“Maybe I’m old fashioned but he turns up in his Rolls Royce and I’m like ‘ah no Dele, donāt do that.’ Little signals like that to me… am I wrong Ally?”
McCoist replied: “Listen mate, I don’t think you’re wrong. You’ve got to combat it by saying we’re of a completely different generation. I’m with you Al, wee little things like that. I’m bursting for Dele to do well.
“Everton fans are working class people, I don’t know if it sends out the right message. However, I do accept that you and I are from a completely different generation.”
Alan Brazil and Ally McCoist choosing to slam Dele Alli for turning up at Everton in a Rolls Royce caused a stir online with fans defending the player…
@simmy1878: He could arrive in a spaceship for all I don’t care. As long as he does it on the pitch that’s what matters
@afinley406: He has been earning a lot of money for a long time I dare see he can afford a few nice things no one complains when businessmen turn up in nice cars
@nathjhill318: Breaking news – man drives to work in car
@inthezoneuk: No problem with turning up in a Rolls Royce, but then he has to deliver on the pitch. Nobody cares about a playerās external interests, cars etc. All they care about is what they do on the pitch. And if they donāt deliver, then those external issues become a target.
@Icevain7: he aint gonna come in a caravan is he
@Everton78Nsno: He earns a lot of money he’s entitled to spend it how he likes. Not like anyone tells you how to spend your money
@alan_gibbons: Absolute nonsense as usual. It’s all relative…. He earns over 100 times the average earnings. Average hatchback is about Ā£22k. So if his car was Ā£2.2mil+ it would be in line with your average hatchback. Rolls Royce to his salary is like a Ā£5k old banger as average
@JamesBrownEFC: Should he have walked?
@Luke_Vials: Not a particular fan of Dele Alli or Everton (obviously) but basing your football analysis on a car is truly pathetic. Talksport really are dross these days
@louorns: I genuinely believe Talksport is one of the worst things to ever happen to football. It causes unnecessary hate and puts different stigmas towards players. Sooner that company is burned to the ground the better
@LiamTHFC98_: This is absolutely ridiculous! Just in the door at Everton and heās already being criticised. What has it got to do with anyone what car he drives? Is he gonna suddenly turn his career round by rocking up in a fucking Ford KA? Lay off it Alan.
@Amopinion08: I have to agree with Alan here. Players earn to much money and turn up with ridiculous cars and hairstyles and clothes.
@TwittaTwatta13: They donāt earn too much money. They are at the top of their profession and work in the entertainment business and also their clubs are earning enough to pay them that kind of money. What would you do, say no thanks just give me Ā£500 a week?! You and I can only dream of tht money
@eideangm: BREAKING NEWS: Footballer who earns a lot of money has an expensive car! More as we get it.
@Stevieboi696969: I think Alan is jealous because he wants a Rolls Royce but works for talkshite so canāt afford it.
@carling_4737: What sort of cars does he think the other Everton players are turning up in? Fiestas and Mondeos?
@Wolf277Wolf: You do realise the idea that all scousers are skint and on the dole is a tory lie, thereās more millionaires per thousand in the area north of the river Dee upto Lytham st Annās and out to Manchester than in any other area in the uk
@FinKitch: Do you think Dele Alli might consider swapping his Rolls Royce with my shitty 08 plate Astra? You know, to appease the angry mob.
@AndrewD56115686: Dele Alli and his Rolls Royce still topic of conversation on talkSPORT. Fuck sake. Like the others are all turning up in Nissan Micras @talkSPORT
@DemaraiArmy: All Iām hearing is that a footballer has drove to work in his own car?
@life_as_brian: What a ridiculous argument! Look forward to hearing about every other signing in the PL and their choice of car! Heās got a nice car. Itās not like heās doing donuts in it in the car park or wrapped it in bling shouting look at me! Letās just give the lad a chance first shall we!
@garyianbrown3: Yeah because his roller will stick out like a sore thumb amongst the Bentleys and the other prestige motors the other players drive
@SCOA22: Never mentioned his Rolls when he was plying his trade in London!! If he doesnāt put a shift in Alex Iwobi style & starts insta stories flaunting his wealth, thatās when we moan. No need for him to turn up pushing Freddy Boswellās bin cart just because heās in Liverpool. #EFC
@tomosefc: Heās just moved to a new city. He doesnāt know the bus routes yet and itās a bit cold to be hitch hiking – had to settle for driving the car he owns. Clampets you lot
@ColBennettH4: That Dele Alli story about his Rolls Royce is ridiculous, what do people think he should drive around in a 73 yugo? There’s lads in the second tier scooting around in 200k lambos. Business has changed.
