With the news that every League One and Two game can be watched on iFollow this weekend, it’s caused a debate with football fans on social media, many expressed their anger…
It’s an absolute disgrace. Shaun Harvey should be sacked immediately. This Saturday 3.0pm slot has always been and should always be free from ‘live’ TV or live streaming. Whenever any evening match is streamed/shown live attendances at all lower league & #Nonleague games suffer

Another nail in the coffin, Shaun Harvey is an absolute plantpot. Get out and watch a match. #HarveyOut #Grassroots #nonleague https://t.co/y2kVPDySU1

As I understand, this system does not help or assist small clubs financially and will possibly encourage away supporters not to travel thus hitting revenue further. As a ST holder on holiday I would love to watch but moral principle will prevent me from contributing to this sham

Lower league teams usually thrived when it was the international break but now with this, all people now have to do is line the EFL’s pockets by paying £10 to watch it in their living room. Attendances will be down across league 1 & 2 next season. Absolute shambles. https://t.co/JMyGsTVaZx

A game changer for exiled fans. Not so much for clubs who will lose out on income as some fans will instead opt to stay at home and pay less money to do so.

Others can see the benefits…
Great idea. Opens the game up to a wider audience and potential new supporters. Hope @premierleague follow! Almost impossible to get an away ticket, so I’d pay a tenner to watch my team if I can’t watch live.

People that prefer being at the ground will still go and those who maybe can’t get to games due to medical conditions, child care issues, live elsewhere in the country or maybe just can’t afford the price of tickets will still get the odd chance to watch their team!

Brilliant!!! Stripping ££ from clubs as international breaks can take fans of top clubs along to local lower league teams , away fans at these games can just stay away!! …well done Football League ? ?

If you already go to the games, why does it being shown on stream affect you paying for a ticket? A lot of outrage seems to come from people that already go. Not everyone can afford it or work around other life commitments. Good decision for me.
