Time to take a look at the 26/27 FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round draw after the weekend’s First Qualifying action.

Winners of the FA Trophy Preliminary Round and First Qualifying Round ties are awarded £1,500 while the losing sides pick up £400.

There were no upsets in the FA Trophy with every team playing from the same level at this stage of the competition.

FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round ties are to be played weekend of the 12th of September 2026, winners picking up £2,250 and losing sides get £575.

It isn’t until the Third Qualifying Round until we see the 88 7th tier clubs enter, those from the National League North and South enter the Second Round Proper, and then the National League sides in the Third Round Proper.

The default date for matches in the Second Round Qualifying is Saturday 12 September 2026, kick-off 3.00pm.

There are no replays. When a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the winner shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the procedure adopted by The International Football Association Board.

If a match is postponed, this must be rescheduled and played within the postponement window, on or before Thursday 17 September 2026
