2025/26 FA Vase Final confirmed following semi final second leg ties

The 2025/26 FA Vase Final has now been confirmed following semi final second leg ties played out on Saturday afternoon.

Coming into the day’s action, AFC Stoneham, at home to Hallen AFC, had one foot in the final after a 3-0 away win in the first leg.

Punjab United, at home to Cockfosters, with the tie at 1-1 on aggregate following the semi-final first leg. Time to find out how both ties played out…

AFC STONEHAM 3-1 HALLEN (6-1 AGG)

851 fans saw AFC Stoneham, who sit top of the Wessex League Premier Division, book a place in the final, off to Wembley for the first time in their history.

Captain Alex Welch netting twice in the first half against Hallen, who sit just below mid-table in the Hellenic League Premier Division, with Tyrell Sampson scoring a third midway through the second half at the Stoneham Lane Complex in Eastleigh.

Hallen’s Sam Deuchars got a consolation for his side, who put in a better showing than in the first leg.

AFC Stoneham will take on Cockfosters in the final, who for them have a short trip to Wembley, they beat Punjab United 2-0.

PUNJAB UNITED 0-2 COCKFOSTERS (1-3 AGG)

1,209 fans were in attendance at the Elite Venue in Gravesend to watch Cockfosters, who sit just a place below the playoff places in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division, book a place in the final. They will also be going to Wembley for the first time in their history.

Punjab United, who are eyeing up the Southern Counties East League Premier Division playoffs, just fall short of making it to Wembley.

George Lutaaya’s over head kick put Cockfosters one up 12 minutes in, before JJ Cruz doubled the scoreline on 86 minutes.

Cockfosters boss Gavin Kelsey said to the Non League Paper that he never had any doubts his side would get the job done after his side levelled the tie at home last week.

β€œTaking Cockfosters to Wembley is a massive achievement and I’m just pleased for all my players.
β€œI don’t know when this will sink in to be honest.”

All four sides have reached this stage of the competition for the first time in their histories, with the semi-final winners will earn Β£5,500 and the losing sides pick up Β£1,725.

The FA Vase Final will take place at Wembley on the 17th of May, getting underway before the FA Trophy final between Southend United and Wealdstone on the same day.

The winners of the FA Vase will receive Β£30,000 and the runners up, Β£15,000.
