18 free agents that Premier League and Championship clubs could still sign

We continue our look at the current free agents that could be snapped up by Premier League and Championship clubs…

15) GABBY AGBONLAHOR

Gabby Agbonlahor is a 32 year old centre-forward currently without a club.

He ended a 17-year association with his hometown club Aston Villa when the 2017/18 season finished.

Prior to his time at the Midlands side, he also had loan spells at Watford and Sheffield Wednesday.

16) GIUSEPPE ROSSI

Giuseppe Rossi is a 31 year old striker currently without a club since departing Genoa last season but has been training with former team Manchester United.

He has also played for Newcastle, Parma, Villarreal, Fiorentina, Levante and Celta Vigo.

It’s been said that he would be open to a return to the Premier League.

17) JOE LEDLEY

Joe Ledley is a 32 year old centre-midfielder currently without a club.

It was late on during Deadline Day that he departed Derby County so that he can “continue” his career.

He has previously had spells at Cardiff, Celtic and Crystal Palace as well as winning 77 caps for the Wales national team since 2005.

18) PATRICE EVRA

Patrice Evra is a 37 year old left-back currently without a club.

It was just over a year ago that he made a surprise move to West Ham United, before he went on to make five appearances and then departed.

Prior to the Hammers, he was at Marseille but had his contract terminated after an incident in the warm-ups of a Europa League match in November 2017, Evra was sent off for kicking a Marseille fan in the head, who was reportedly “ridiculing” him as he trained. He was charged and banned, making him unable to play in any UEFA competitions until June 2018.

His former clubs include Juventus, Manchester United, Monaco and Nice.
