West Ham fans to boycott an upcoming Prem fixture with a claim that their team will ‘die’ under the current ownership.
Hammers United, are urging supporters to not attend the televised home game against Brentford, on the 20th of October, in protest against owners Brady and Sullivan.
Suggestions include watching at pubs or at home, or avoiding ticket exchanges to empty the stadium.
The Fan Advisory Board (FAB), representing over 25,000 supporters and incorporating multiple groups, has issued a vote of no confidence to shareholders.
Reason behind the protests include alleged financial distress despite recent successes, ageing squad, poor scouting/training facilities, criticism towards the London Stadium, and commercial revenues trailing rivals like Bournemouth and Brighton.
We were told we would get Champions League football after we moved to the Olympic Stadium.
To do that we would need to be in the top 4 or 5 clubs in terms of hard cash investment.
We haven’t invested to that level. And continue to sell our best playershttps://t.co/KWh1blVPqg

BOYCOTT STATEMENT:
Sheffield Wednesday sent a clear message to their owners, and made headlines with their successful boycott of the Yorkshire derby against bitter rivals Leeds United.
Now we are calling on all West Ham fans to boycott the Brentford home game on Monday 20th October.
After our 3-0 win at Nottingham Forest, Brady and Sullivan will be expecting our fans to walk through the turnstiles as if the last 15 years never happened.
This is why it’s more important than ever for the fans to let them know that we will never forgive, and nor will we forget, all of the damage they have done to our Club.
Stand together. Boycott Brentford.
NO MORE BS
Support your local – have a few beers and watch the game down the pub.
Watch the game at home.
Don’t have Sky? Get a NowTV pass
Season ticket holders – boycott the Club’s Ticket Exchange. Don’t let the Club profit from your ticket while all you get is a handful of Club Cash.
Don’t pass your ticket to someone else – we need as many fans OUT OF THE GROUND as possible.
Brady and Sullivan are killing our Club, by giving up just one game you can send a clear message to them:

Meanwhile, the FAB have a vote of no confidence in the West Ham board, saying in a statement…
Over the last week or so, representatives of the supporters’ groups that sit on the West Ham United Fan Advisory Board (FAB) held discussions regarding the state of affairs at the Club.
Following these discussions, a vote of no confidence was passed, representing the FAB’s dissatisfaction with the Board’s performance across a wide range of issues over a long period of time.
The FAB sent the following to the shareholders of West Ham United Football Club:
It is with regret that we feel we need to write to you on behalf of the 25,000 or more dedicated West Ham United supporters that we, the FAB members, directly represent.
We now have no choice but to issue a “vote of no confidence” in relation to the Board’s management of the club.
Just two years after winning a European trophy and selling our best player who had been with us since he was 14 for £105m, to hear claims of financial distress, (a year after the last accounts said there were no PSR issues on the horizon), see an ageing uncompetitive squad, inadequate scouting infrastructure and a derided training facility is simply unacceptable, and in the supporters’ eyes incontrovertible evidence of sustained failure on behalf of the executive management.
You will have seen the recent supporter run survey completed by over 9,000 Hammers and run by totally independent sources including the FSA. It is a damning indictment of the club, and in particular the stadium, which far from being viewed as “World Class” is the most criticised ground in the country and home to a match day experience regularly subject to negative chanting from away fans.
You told us that our move to the London Stadium would take us to the next level. The reality is, our commercial revenues are now dwarfed by our supposed rivals. Supporters find themselves casting envious glances at the likes of Bournemouth, Brighton, Brentford and Crystal Palace all of whom outperform West Ham United both on and off the pitch.
We need professional full-time executives with both football and commercial expertise, and no further Board interference, no more dependence on favoured agents, in short, a move to a competitive professional leadership. The recently quoted description “analogue club in a digital world” is very apt and has to change.
You have no doubt heard our members are calling for multiple protests at forthcoming games. We now have no choice but to support those calls and are engaging with the relevant authorities to ensure lawful compliance.
The FAB would far prefer to be working with the club in a progressive manner. However, we trust you’ll understand current circumstances threaten our existence as a topflight club.
We look forward to your response by return and will not make this letter public until noon Monday 1st September 2025.
Yours sincerely,

Here’s how Twitter users reacted with West Ham fans to boycott their Prem fixture against Brentford, with the claim their team will ‘die’ under the current ownership…
@michaelhart100: No chance I boycott a league game. I support the team regardless of the owners
@paulnobbyturner: David Gold actually said there is no reason we shouldn’t be playing CL in 3-5 years. There actually were three reason we wouldn’t. Gold, Sullivan and Brady! #morelies
@MarcusRowswell: Brady lied all the way to the stadium, world class stadium, world class players, seats no further from the pitch than those at UP, G & S sold us up the river with the move, no benefit to the club or the fans, Sullivan has invested but without a plan, incompetent waster, should go
@pmal5098: That usually ends one way, the board sack the manager. Once the pressure hits upstairs, they turn on the dugout. As a Newcastle fan under Ashley, we tried it all, he rode every storm but managers paid the price 👌
@bartong2011: Can we continue with this regime constantly being a 🎪 uncertainty, unambitious, no proper transfer strategy, money goes missing, false hope.#sbout #sullivansout #bradyout #boardout
@Whu4321: Results don’t matter anymore it’s about the club and it’s visions for the future from top to bottom Sullivan made it crystal clear during the last 15 years of mismanagement he isn’t capable of taking West Ham any further where our much cherished football club belongs. GSBOUT
It’s not about results.
It’s not about winning.
It’s about getting our club back.
Our identity back.
Our soul back.
No matter your colour religion or political beliefs.
We always came together as West Ham United.
That transpires everything else.
It’s the West Ham way.#GSBOUT⚒️ https://t.co/cNn41apLxe pic.twitter.com/iEheyt1cd1— Poplar Tales (@PinceyKeeble1) September 3, 2025
