– Burnley appear to be leading Crystal Palace and Middlesbrough in the £15 million race for Everton‘s Yannick Bolasie. The Sun reports Burnley have opened talks with Everton about signing the winger, and are the only bidder close to the Toffees’ £20 million valuation.
– Newcastle United are looking at trying to sign Bournemouth ace Harry Arter this summer, according to The Sun, but the Magpies face competition from Cardiff City, Middlesbrough and Stoke City for the Republic of Ireland international. The report adds that Bournemouth will be looking for around £10 million before they sanction a deal.
– Aston Villa are making a shock move to sign Besiktas’ Alvaro Negredo according to a report from Turkish publication Takvim via Villa Report. Cardiff are also keen.
DEALS:
– Fulham have completed the signing of Arsenal defender Calum Chambers on a season-long loan deal.
– Burnley have signed goalkeeper Joe Hart from Manchester City on a two-year deal for a fee in the region of £3.5m. Clarets boss Sean Dyche has brought in the 31-year-old with fellow keepers Nick Pope and Tom Heaton out injured.
– Colombia midfielder Jefferson Lerma has joined Bournemouth for a club record £25m fee from Spanish side Levante. Lerma, who agreed a five-year deal, played in all Colombia’s matches at the World Cup in Russia, including their last 16 defeat by England.
– Burnley have signed Derby County‘s Czech Republic striker Matej Vydra, who was top scorer in the Championship last season. Vydra, 26, has signed for an undisclosed fee on a three-year deal, with the option of another year. He scored 21 goals in 40 league appearances as the Rams finished sixth in the table.
– Birmingham City have re-signed striker Omar Bogle on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Cardiff City.
– Birmingham City have signed Bournemouth winger Connor Mahoney on a season-long loan deal.
