Fans reacted as the FA Cup Fourth and Fifth Round draw was made in full live, see what people said below…

@UnitedHeaven_: I think I speak for every Manchester United fan when I say just give us anyone but Wolves in the FA Cup draw tonight. I can’t sit through another dull game against them, 4 last year was too many..

@TheImmortalKop: City are basically playing in the Papa John’s Trophy twice a year considering who they draw in the Carabao & FA Cup

@AFCKieran_: Arsenal’s draws in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup this season so far: Leicester, Liverpool, Man City, Newcastle, Southampton – It’s actually rigged…

@x_natalie123: The most Wednesday thing to happen this season would be for us to now go on and knock Everton out. Love the FA cup draw

@UTDRajan_: Imagine the shock on my face that we drew l****pool and Man City drew some shit team. It’s actually rigged everytime

@Priceless_Silva: Lool no way we actually got Cheltenham in the FA Cup next round. Maybe we do rig these draws after all

@MoustacheHis: The usual fix is in for Man Cheaty I see. Embarrassing.. the FA should be ashamed of themselves or being on the take.

@Morgz5631: Wolves, Spurs and Chelsea all have easy matches too? But no “Man Cheaty” is more important

@Jamiehop27: City is living rent free in a LOT of fans of other clubs. Wow.

@c0_ross: Genuine question: how does doing the 5th round draw tonight make it easier for teams to plan? They know they’d have had a game that weekend anyway and won’t know who they’re playing that weekend till after 4th round anyway? #facupdraw

All Saturday afternoon it looked as though we would see some sort of shock on the cards and that is certainly what happened at Blackburn Rovers with league below Doncaster Rovers coming away with 1-0 win.

On first viewing, it looked to be a fizzing strike from Doncaster’s loanee striker Taylor Richards which then streaks into the bottom corner.

The replay showed that Blackburn goalkeeper Aynsley Pears should have done a lot better with the ball flying through his gloves.

They managed to hold onto the win and seal a place into the Fourth and Fifth Round draw of the FA Cup, which can been viewed as the ties come out on this site.

League One outfit Milton Keynes Dons tried hard to cause a shock, taking Sean Dyche’s Burnley to extra time.

The opening goal came on the 31st minute, against the run of play. A great delivery from the left, a cute flick on from Scott Fraser and Cameron Jerome, all 34 years of him, is on hand to nod home.

With what surely had to be the last kick of the game, Matej Vydra slid in at the far post and poked home to add an extra 30 minutes onto the tie.

However there was nothing more that happened in extra times and penalties it was to settle the tie, with Burnley going on to win 4-2.

Another that went into extra time was Blackpool of League One against Premier League strugglers West Brom with the scoreline at 2-2 come the end of 120 minutes.

It was on the 41st minute that the hosts broke forward after sustaining a period of pressure and Bez Lubala sent in a cross from the left which fell into the path of Jerry Yates for the easiest of tap-ins.

Semi Ajayi got the Baggies an equaliser five minutes into the second half. A good couple of blocks by the Blackpool defence kept the Baggies at bay, however the visitors were rewarded for their strong start to the second half as Ajayi headed in from Kamil Grosicki’s cross.

The 66th minute saw Gary Madine put the club two leagues below West Brom back in front, one touch football with Jerry Yates nudging the ball into the path of Gary Madine and the Blackpool striker slot into the bottom corner.

Sam Allardyce’s side were handed a penalty with 10 minutes of normal time remaining, as Blackpool were looking comfortable, Matheus Pereira made no mistakes from the spot.

Extra time played out and no more goals were scored, so a penalty shootout it was down to, which then saw Blackpool win 3-2 and put more pressure on the Baggies’ newest manager.

The third upset of the day came at the John Smith’s Stadium where Huddersfield, who at one point lead 2-1, ended up throwing it away, losing 3-2 to league below Plymouth Argyle.

Romoney Crichlow met a corner at the near post and glanced it into the back of the net to put the Terriers 1-0 up after just four minutes.

Ryan Hardie then got an equaliser for the Pilgrims 20 minutes later. His side won the ball back high up the pitch and Luke Jephcott threaded it through perfectly for Hardie who raced into the box and slotted it coolly past the keeper.

Aaron Rowe got the hosts back in front with a sublime goal, he cut inside off the right and absolutely smashed it into the top left corner. 32 minutes on the clock by this point.

There was still time to get another goal in the half, Panutche Camara making it 2-2 on the 42nd minute. Danny Mayor teed up Camara inside the box and he lifted it into the roof of the net from the centre.

The second half saw Plymouth open up the Huddersfield defence. The ball came over to Ryan Hardie on the left side of the box and he fired it at goal. Hamer tipped it up and off the corner of the crossbar.

20 minutes from time, Joe Edwards put Plymouth 3-2 up. Danny Mayor gets to the byline, dribbles along it and cuts it back into the centre where Edwards was to poke it over the line from a yard out to send them through.

There was a huge amount of talk before the much anticipated Sunday game at Crawley Town, mainly surrounding on their new signing Mark Wright who was named in the on the bench.

Before he even had chance to come onto the pitch, with many thinking he’d score at some point during the game, Crawley were 3-0 up against their opponents who sit 12th in the Premier League table.

Nick Tsaroulla put the hosts in front on the 50th minute, collecting it on the edge of the box, spinning away from a defender and weaving his way into the penalty area before firing a superb strike into the far corner with his left foot.

Of course by this point the calls for the sacking of Kiko Casilla, signed from Real Madrid in 2019, came from the Leeds fanbase on Twitter.

Just two minutes later, Ashley Nadesan doubled the Reds’ lead, after Leeds give it away in their own half and Nadesan was threaded through on the right of the penalty box by Tom Nichols.

A decent effort on goal, but Kiko Casilla really should have done better there. The Leeds keeper lets it squirm through his grasp at the front post.

BBC Sport’s live feed read: “Wow. Leeds have previous in the FA Cup when it comes to being upset by lower-league opposition, but Marcelo Bielsa’s side must be stunned by that quick double for the hosts.

“The Premier League side look to hit back through Helder Costa, but he can’t stretch a leg out far enough to poke into an empty net.”

Whilst Martin Keown added: “Crawley manager John Yems will know that that this is a big period in the game because Leeds are going to come after them now.

“There has to be a reaction.”

Leeds continued to get from there, it got scrappy in the Leeds box, and Ashley Nadesan mustered an effort on target.

Kiko Casilla got down well to keep it out, but Jordan Tunnicliffe was there on the edge of the six-yard box to take a touch and hammer it into the roof of the net to make it Crawley three, Leeds nil. Ouch.

TOWIE star and Heart radio presenter Mark Wright did make his appearance, coming on with two minutes left on the clock… here he is!
