Hereford sign defender Nathan Cameron with over 200 EFL appearances to his name, and the new addition has gone down well with fans.
The 31 year old made his way through the academy system at Coventry, and has also represented Bury, Macclesfield, and spent time on loan at Nuneaton in 2010 and Northampton in 2013.
He has been capped by England at youth level, appearing once for the under-20 team.
Cameron also signed for Wigan Athletic in September 2020 on a short-term contract, before turning out for the likes of Solihull Moors, Kidderminster Harriers, Hednesford Town and more recently AFC Telford United.

CLUB STATEMENT:
We are delighted to announce the signing of central defender, Nathan Cameron as we start our pre-season friendlies tomorrow.
A commanding central defender who has previously been with the likes of Coventry City, Bury and Wigan Athletic, Cameron has more than 200 EFL appearances to his name, while also being an England U20 International earlier in his career. Cameron has a wealth of experience at this level having played for both Kidderminster Harriers and Telford United in recent years.
Bulls’ manager, Paul Caddis, had this to say about the latest arrival:
“We are delighted to get someone of Nathan’s experience signed on for the upcoming season. Clearly the squad lacked depth in the centre of defence, but as with all the signings made to date, we wanted this to be the right signing and not a rushed one.
“Nathan will bring a tenacity and physicality to the back line, as well as the communication and organisational abilities needed to be a successful central defender.
“Having shared a dressing room with Nathan many years ago, I know the type of human being he is and one of the key factors in bringing Nathan to the club was knowing his characteristics not just as a player, but also as a person.
“He wants to win and has the grit required to do whatever it takes to keep clean sheets. He will be a leader amongst the group and will drive the standards from on the pitch.
“It’s also worth noting Nathan has turned down several opportunities to join other clubs after hearing the positive things I’ve told him about our football club and he is yet another player who has had his decision influenced by the great support he knows we have.”
