25/26 FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round draw after First Qualifying action

Time for the 25/26 FA Trophy Second Qualifying Round draw now following a very busy weekend of First Qualifying Round action.

It was a busy weekend as the FA Trophy First Qualifying Round got underway, the 144 teams from step 4 of non league entered at this stage, joining the winners from the Preliminary Round, and there were plenty of goals and a few penalty shootouts across the 80 games.

The Second Qualifying Round sees 40 ties drawn out. Once again, there are no replays, so any match which end in a draw after 90 minutes will be decided via a penalty shootout.

Worth noting for those wondering, teams in the 7th tier will enter in the Third Qualifying Round, while National League North / South teams it’s the Second Round Proper, then the National League in the Third Round Proper.

Teams who win in the Second Qualifying Round will pick up £2,250, while the losers pick up £575, a full list of prize money and dates for each round can be seen below…

There are no replays. When a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the winner shall be determined by the taking of kicks from the penalty mark in accordance with the procedure adopted by The International Football Association Board.

If a match is postponed, this must be rescheduled and played within the postponement window.
