X-rated adult website Stripchat launches a bid worth around £180m to buy the naming rights for Everton’s new stadium, currently being built.
They have made an audacious offer to have the Toffee’s new £500 million stadium be named ‘the Stripchat Sustainability Stadium’.
Everton are currently in the process of developing a brand new 52,888-capacity stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock in Liverpool, with the state-of-the-art facility expected to be completed and ready for the start of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.

It will replace their current Walton-based home, Goodison Park, Everton’s beloved home since 1892 just a short walk away from Liverpool’s Anfield.
The stadium will include a stand that can hold around 13,000 Evertonians behind the goal, along with safe standing areas, if brought in by the Premier League, and will feature two further ‘lower tier’ stands, meaning a potential attendance of 62,000 compared to the 39,000 they get now.
Stripchat contacted Prolific North by email and said: “With news that Everton is seeking naming rights for its new $566 million stadium, Stripchat is officially extending a 10-year, $20 million-per-year offer to have the stadium named the Stripchat Sustainability Stadium.”
Max Bennett, Stripchat’s VP of New Media, added: “Stripchat has officially extended our offer to Everton to be the official naming partner for the club’s new stadium. If our bid were to be accepted, we would make a concerted effort to make ‘Stripchat Sustainability Stadium’ the most progressive, responsible, and sustainable stadium in the world.”
As a part of the agreement, the US based explicit adult website says it would ensure the stadium limits carbon output and is used to host philanthropic events of importance to the company. These events would include – but won’t be limited to – sexual health events during “No Nut November,” and support events for veterans during PTSD Awareness Month in June.
Prolific North got in touch with Everton, and a spokesman confirmed that no official approach has so far been received. In the absence of an actual offer, the club declined to make an official comment on whether it would consider Stripchat as stadium sponsor, describing it hypothetically as “unlikely.”
It’s not the first time Stripchat, an “inclusive adult entertainment webcam company” that says it receives 600 million views on average each month, has made the headlines for its sporting ambitions.
In July this year, it claimed it had bid $20m to become the New York Yankees’ patch sponsor, having previously failed in 2020 to become the name sponsor of New Orleans Saints’ Superdome in a $15m deal, after the expiry of Mercedes’ naming contract.
In 2021, it claimed to have approached Inter Milan over a $20m shirt sponsorship deal, and also said it had sought to agree a streaming deal with Barcelona in exchange for $10m to help it keep Lionel Messi at the club in the same year.
A deal would also not represent the first time Everton had dealt with some ‘colourful’ sponsors, cutting ties with USM, MegaFon and Yota earlier this year after the owner of USM and its affiliated companies, Alisher Usmanov, was sanctioned and had his assets frozen by the European Union following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Usmanov was named as an oligarch with links to Russian president Vladimir Putin. It was this chain of events that led to the stadium naming rights now being available – USM had originally held an exclusive option on the deal.

Everton want to make their new stadium the most sustainable stadium in England’s top flight.
When it is eventually complete, the stadium is said to harness sun, wind and rain to create green energy and reduce traditional energy consumption.
It is hoped that the stadium development and plans for a Goodison Legacy will deliver a £1.3 billion boost to the economy, according to the club’s official website.
It will also create more than 15,000 jobs and attract 1.4 million new visitors to the city, who have just be confirmed as the new hosts for Eurovision 2023.
