Wrexham fans have given their reaction to the appointment of Graham Barrow this afternoon and there are a fair few who aren’t happy…
Appoint a guy who’s previously stated that he doesn’t want to be a manager, great plan! Other targets have clearly turned us down, so we’ve panicked and appointed the safest and cheapest option.

So we give the job to a man who didn't want the job

So he's gone from being appointed assistant manager for 2.5 years last week.. to now being appointed manager? Stinks of us not being able to get the person we went for. I think he'll do okay, but makes the club look amateurish again.

If the players are happy with him, and the fact @shaunpearson5 has also signed an extension suggests they are, and if he doesn’t abandon us halfway through a season then I’m happy!

The replies continued to fill Wrexham’s Twitter and Facebook pages…

Was always going to be him though really as it would be odd to saddle a new manager, who would have his own back room team with a bloke on a two and a half year deal.

No problem with this, good experienced football man who knows a good player when he sees one !

Some wankers that ‘support’ @Wrexham_AFC, always negative! Good luck GB and get us up! #UTST

He said he didn't want it and he hasn't managed a club in 12 years. Absolute tripe
