Adult tickets start at £429, while supporters under-17 years of age can watch top flight football for under £8 a game, and under-12’s for just £3.63 per game, in any area of the stadium.
Managing director Laurie Dalrymple told the Express & Star the prices were ‘very fair’.
“We wanted to put out fair and appropriate prices for the fans but equally I’ve got an obligation to a board to make sure it’s a pricing schedule that’s fair and appropriate for them,” he said.
“We know we’re going to be investing significantly going forward, not just in terms of the squad but to make us Premier League ready in everything else we do.
“There’s been significant investment made into this football club.
“We’ve done our due diligence and looked at Premier League clubs up and down the country and applied that to what we think is a fair price.
“We’ve also looked at what we charged the last time we were in the Premier League, which compares favourably.
“We’re not the least expensive club in the league but I don’t think we should be, we’re not putting out the least value for money product, if you like.
“In terms if the junior pricing, which last year when we launched the strategy for 2017/18 we made some significant inroads to try and engage the fans for tomorrow.
“As an under-12 you can watch Premier League football for £3.63 per game which is unbelievable value for money. For under-17s it’s under £8 per game.
“We’ve been really conscious not to undermine the work we’ve been doing.
“We’ve still got a responsibility to the club and the investors to say that we’re getting the maximum value for a ticket price.”
