Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani presented Pope Francis with a personalised Whites shirt.
Radrizzani, took to Twitter today to reveal his meeting with the Pope by posting a picture of the club’s current home shirt with Francesco, number one on the back.

Alongside a picture taken back in his home in Italy, he wrote: “Emotional and unique moment to meet his holiness @pontifex and donate an @lufc jersey… we have one special supporter.”
Radrizzani completed the takeover of Leeds United in May 2017 will be hoping his side can keep up their impressive form after the first international break of the season.
New manager Marcelo Bielsa have taken them to joint top of the Championship table and are unbeaten in their first six matches.
Carry on playing the way they are, they might just return to the Premier League for the first time in 14 years.
