A Wigan Athletic fan who appeared on Sky Sports’ Saturday morning show Soccer AM has gone viral after giving a hilarious wrong answer about Southampton.
He and one other supporter next to him were answering questions against the clock and with one minute and fifty seconds to go, the duo was asked where played their home games before moving to St Mary’s.
They had the chance to answer it before one of the two replied ‘KFC’, which then saw presenter John Fendley, the crew and other fans nearby burst into laughter.

The correct answer of course should have been The Dell, which was the home for the Saints for over 100 years.
Another question they were asked was “Which Scottish club has Anton Ferdinand signed for?”, to which they replied “Ince?”. Another shouted “Glasgow!” before his mate asked “Is Glasgow in Scotland?”.
A group of Wigan fans later played another penalty game, this one for a chance to finish high on a leaderboard, however they failed to do so after only managing to score just 5 goals from 22 kicks.
After the lads’ appearance on Soccer AM, they got largely mocked by the viewers, many others laughed at their hilarious wrong answers – check out the best tweets on the next page.
