VIDEO: Seventh tier club produces FA Cup upset against National League side

The FA Cup was back in action this afternoon and this time it was the Fourth Qualifying Round and once again we got to see a few more shocks.

Seventh tier side Metropolitan Police FC knocked out recently promoted Havant & Waterlooville, beating them 1-0, to book a place into the First Round Proper draw which takes place on Monday.

The last time ‘The Met’ reached that far was in the 2012/13 season (for the fourth time) when they lost 2-1 at home to Crawley Town.

Check out their celebratory dressing room scenes after today’s triumph on the video below…

There was also an upset at Chorley after they came back from 2-0 down to beat National League side (league above them) Barrow to go through to the next round. Last season they got to the First Round for the first time in 27 years, but went on to lose to Fleetwood.
