VIDEO: Peterborough’s Jason Cummings bizarrely smashes up his own flat

Footage has emerged on social media in the last 24 hours of Peterborough United striker Jason Cummings bizarrely smashing up his own flat.

The video, which you can see below, showed him throwing objects which included a television into windows of the apartment.

The player also sprayed champagne around before giving thumbs up to the camera.

However after the video was posted, Peterborough United owner Darragh MacAnthony defended Jason Cumming’s actions.

He said: “He’s fine. Been dealt with in-house and yes he’s made a daft mistake but let’s calm down. He will learn quickly from moments of stupidity.

“We have a young squad who have an edge to them and at times can be daft. Just have to be careful with level of daftness.

“He’s been with our manage all afternoon at a sports event with his family. That’s man management.”

Cummings has had a quality start to the season, scoring six goals in eight matches on loan at the Posh from Nottingham Forest. He also won the League One Player of the Month award recently.

Social media users quickly gave their judgement on the video that was going viral, some went in hard on the striker, others suspected he might have been on something – check out those tweets on the next page.
