Newcastle United midfielder Matt Ritchie has gone viral overnight after he missed an open goal from just two yards out against Burnley.
DeAndre Yedlin had his effort saved by Joe Hart before the rebound went straight towards to the Scottish international, who should have tapped the ball in to extend the Magpies lead to 3-1 after just 49 minutes.
But instead Ritchie smashes it against the side netting, leaving the travelling fans in disbelief just behind the goal.

Ritchie was interviewed by Sky Sports, he said: “I don’t know. Honestly, I don’t know. I thought I’d scored to be honest with you.
“I think I was already celebrating before I put into the net. Hopefully it doesn’t make a Premier League misses.
“The winger also gave away a free-kick in the final seconds of injury-time, which saw Sam Vokes head the ball over the bar.
“I was delighted to see that ball go over the bar and that whistle go. It was a huge relief.”
