A unique moment during a Checkatrade Trophy match this week saw a Charlton Athletic fan ask his partner who supports AFC Wimbledon, to marry him.
The couple went onto the pitch with the girlfriend blindfolded to make her think she was taking part in a dizzy penalty shootout.
She and the crowd of 1,244 were fooled into thinking that was what she was going to do…

The announcer stopped the girlfriend spinning and removed the blindfold to the lad on one knee in front of her, surprising the fans who then went on to show their appreciation.
