Footage has emerged on social media of Fleetwood Town manager Joey Barton getting sent to the stands before a mass brawl broke out.
In the closing stages of the Cod Army’s League One clash at Bristol Rovers, James Clarke slotted the ball home inside the area to give the hosts a 2-1 lead in the 94th minute.
A minute later, Barton was sent off with both teams’ players and staff squaring up to each other.

Referee Brett Huxtable gave out 11 cards during the game including two for Ched Evans who was shown a straight red card early second half and even a yellow was handed to unused sub Stefan Payne.
Barton said, as quoted by The Sun:“That’s as bad a refereeing performance as I’ve seen and that includes junior football. The Rovers staff even warned us about him.
“It wasn’t that type of game. Unfortunately someone who was way out of his depth has ruined a good game of football.”
The Lancashire club informed their fans that they have appealed Ched Evans’ red card.

Fleetwood went in front on the 28th minute lead when Ashley Hunter bent the ball into the top corner.
Rovers equalised just 8 minutes later as Gavin Reilly headed home a flick-on from six yards.
James Clarke found the net in injury time to seal all three points for the hosts.
