It seems as though some football fans can’t handle their drink, yet another video has emerged of massive brawl at a pub during an England game.
The footage comes just weeks after there were similar scenes in Bristol after the Three Lions hammered Panama.
Whilst millions watched England win their first ever World Cup penalty shootout, filled with jubilation, it was completely the opposite at a pub garden in Kent.
You can watch the video which is going viral below…
The mass brawl which involved more than 20 people happened at the Command House in Chatham – which had reportedly charged ‘VIP’ guests £50 for a table.
The two-minute long punch-up saw security guards desperately trying to calm the situation as it unfolded.
One man could be seen crouching down in fear on the floor as others tried to get at him from above.
Beer cans and alcohol were thrown as the two rival groups battled it out with each other.
The end of the fight saw spectators standing on tables and cheering.
A statement posted on the pub’s Facebook page said: “First, we’d like to thank everyone that came down throughout the games to watch and who helped created a fantastic atmosphere.
“We’ve had a very constructive and supportive meeting with the Medway police licensing team who are happy to work with us to continue showing the World Cup, however, we have taken the internal decision that, despite the support and encouragement of the police licensing team, we are not prepared to continue to provide this service.
“We will not be showing any further World Cup games, including the England v Sweden game this coming Saturday 7th, and in addition any future football tournaments.
“Medway has now lost it’s opportunity to watch football tournaments, in what is one of it’s best outside spaces, because of the actions of a handful of idiots.
“We’ve also taken the decision to give the staff some much needed time off, after all of the hard work and effort they’ve put into the games so they can enjoy the forthcoming game at their leisure.
“We will be closed all day on Saturday 7th July.
“Finally, we’d like to extend a special thank you to the Medway police licensing team, all of the staff at The Command House and the video screen provider Video Illusions.”
Despite there being hardly any hooliganism in Russia, there still has been isolated incidents inside the stadiums of this year’s World Cup.
