Updated new stadium pictures released as Everton provide update on plans

Updated new stadium pictures have been released as Everton provide an important update on plans for their Bramley-Moore Dock home.

The Toffees are building a new 52,888-seater stadium on the banks of the River Mersey and plan to open the stunning ground in the summer of 2024.

They launched a website and social media channels to show off their glossy work-in-progress stadium, and boy are we excited for this.

They are planning to move into their new home at the Bramley-Moore Dock on the banks of the River Mersey ahead of the 2024/25 campaign, and published new images and videos of their progress on the stadium since breaking ground in August 2021.

Everton have also issues pictures and videos of how the new stadium will look on completion. It will hold up to 52,888 spectators and will include bars, restaurants and “experiences”.

Bramley-Moore is a former commercial dock that sits behind locked gates next to a wastewater treatment plant, and it is intended that the new stadium will become the heart of a new mixed-use development in the area containing shops, housing and other venues.

Similar to fellow Premier League outfit Tottenham’s new stadium, it is intended that there will be a 13,000-seater stand which is reportedly inspired by the “Yellow Wall” at the Westfalenstadion, the stadium of Borussia Dortmund.
