The usual matchday tends to see the list of United Kingdom trends on Twitter full of hashtags, names of players and referees as fans reacted to what they were watching of the Premier League.
So it was rather stand out yesterday, when people noticed something you hardly ever see unless it was about minnows of the FA Cup or if it was FA Vase/Trophy day.
Two matches both from the National League North were trending, after AFC Telford United and Alfreton Town tweeted in-game updates nearly every minute from start to finish.
TEL 0 CHO 0 was one of those and was in the top three most talked about because of so many updates.
#ATFCLive was another that creeped into the top 10.
The official Telford United account has tweeted about the match vs Chorley 35 times since kick-off.
There have been that many live updates that 'tel 0 cho 0' is now trending in the UK.
The game is 0-0 at half-time, with no notable incidents.

We think we could be first club EVER to be trending in the UK on twitter & be drawing 0-0 at home ? https://t.co/HoH5TOq0b7

The fun eventually came to an end after the scoreline at New Bucks Head changed after Chorley made it 1-0 on the 69th minute. The full time score ended in a defeat for AFC Telford losing 2-1.
Alfreton Town’s hashtag gained momentum as they kept on tweeting during their game with it.
It’s certainly one way to get your none league team in the public eye and we don’t think we’ll be seeing the last of it, if anything, probably new ones.
