Thomas Frank is praised by fans after coming out with a heartfelt speech to Ethan Pinnock on making it 100 PL appearances at the weekend.
Frank can be heard saying: “It’s Ethan’s 100 Premier League games. You played a lot of non league football. How many leagues below this? About 50 yeah?
“So at a certain stage, I think you told me that you’re taking your degree in sport. So you got a bachelor or those got a bachelor degree. So we all know Eth, without speaking much, he’s one of the smartest ones here in many many ways.
“Doing that and think, okay, this is the last push. Went to Barnsley, from Forest Green, then Barnsley, then us, now 100 games in the Premier League.
“I think you’ve been a bit of mountain for us. I do think maybe your last, this the sixth season? Maybe you’ve been the most consistent player in all those six seasons.
“That’s incredible. And when you play to your best, we are unbelievable team. Give him a round of applause.”
“You’ve been a mountain for us.”

@SatNavtheGooner: Massive achievement by @EthanPinnock5 🙌🏾 But also the acknowledgment from his Gaffer is top notch
@wayneg4: Vastly underrated player, but one most would have. Really nice touch from Frank to recognise the achievement in front of and with his peers 👌🏼
@_chrisquinn: Watched Pinnock often at Dulwich when living in London. Always looked too good for the level but thought he could have been a League Two player and make a decent living out of football. His ascent has been remarkable really. Probably says more about my eye for a player…
@dpotter100: This really does show what level current non league football players can achieve with the right desire, commitment and attitude to learn more 👊⚽️
@frannyjc: Proper fella is Thomas Frank, seems a great man manager
@Matboy_Slim: One of the finest @DulwichHamletFC players I’ve seen. Boy, that was some team @EthanPinnock5
@MalcNeale: Well done @EthanPinnock5, a rock at FGR as well 💪
@luk3lewis: Love this. Just shows if you get the right manager who backs you – he can truly take you to the top. 100 PL games is a fantastic milestone for any player – especially one who was playing for Forest Green in NL 7 years ago.
@reddickpaul: Excellent signing for Brentford. Major reason why we were promoted and have stayed in this league.
@JIMMYCISABEE: Brentford Legend forever 🏔️🏔️
@Boshoff__: Excellent and sincere man management
@dean_aldo:
🐝 Legend 💯%
Absolute man ⛰️
@dazzmorley: Incredible footballer 👍🏻
@Smithpeteralb72: Not my team but he is a classy manager of a team who play football in the right way.
@Prezzi_sahc: Love this for Ethan 👏🏽👏🏽🥂.. congratulations man 👊🏽
@Tinkertronix: Remember @EthanPinnock5 coming into the Brentford team because of an injury to Julian Jeanvier. The big man played so well, and so consistently, that Jeanvier never got his place back. 💪
Attended a game at Dulwich Hamlet in 2014 which he played ! 7th tier football in front of just 513 and now he’s in the Premier League pic.twitter.com/UHi7u2vKwB
