The cheapest way fans can watch all 92 remaining Premier League matches has been revealed now that return dates are known.
Supporters are banned from entering stadiums, so the only way to watch all the action is from your TV screens.
It is possible that the remaining matches can been seen for a little as £117.98.
As we wait for the full schedule to be confirmed, we know it will be Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime and the BBC showing the games.
SKY
Sky already committing to putting 25 of their 64 matches out free-to-air. Big win there.
They will be showing the much anticipated Merseyside Derby between Liverpool and Everton, however it will be at a neutral venue as advised by police.
The remaining season will play out between June the 17th and expected to end on July the 26th, meaning supporters need to buy two months’ worth of sports passes.
The cheapest way is via NOW TV’s Sky Sports monthly pass, charged at £33.99 a month. That will be £67.98 for two months (works out at £1.06 a match).
Another cheap option – but with restrictions – is a Sky ‘mobile month pass’ for £5.99. Across the two months that is £11.98 (19p a match). You will only be able to watch via phone and not TV.
NOW TV have day and week passes, but don’t have the same value as the monthly deal. The daily pass is £9.99, and you can take advantage of that from 2:59pm Saturday and watch games at 3pm, 5:30pm, 8pm, and then 12pm and 2pm on the Sunday. Though keep an eye on those schedule announcements to buy at the right time. You also can take up the weekly NOW TV pass, which is at £14.99.
(Beware that Sky could put forward new offers, to tempt in new viewers, so keep an eye out)
You can immediately cancel your subscription whenever you choose to.
BT SPORT
Most of their offers are only available if you buy broadband through them or already have a Sky box at home.
BT offer a £29.99 a month package for sports, but you would have to pay £35 up-front so you don’t get into a contract, or pay £20 up-front if you want a 12-month deal.
The cheaper way for two months of the action is to pay £25 a month (so £50 for the two months, £2.50 per game), you can sign up to their unlimited access online package.
It includes BT Sport Ultimate for better picture quality and will be allowed to watch on the BT Sport app on mobile, tablet, console and Smart TV.
You can cancel after the 20 matches have been aired.
AMAZON PRIME
They have the rights to four matches of the final 92, but the dates are unknown right now, so it could be shown across two months, or just one.
If the latter, then you can take advantage of the 30-day free trial, sign up on the day of the game and watch for the month, until it then gets cancelled.
If showings are split across two months, you’d have to keep the subscription longer and pay a month of their usual £7.99 rate (£2 a match).
WHAT IS THE OVERALL?
Through Sky, BBC, Amazon, you can watch 33 matches / 36 per cent of the remaining Premier League games for free.
Via mobile device, you would pay £61.98 for Sky’s mobile-only deal and the BT online access monthly pass across two months. (67p per game).
29 of the 92 games are free on Sky and the BBC, so you’d really pay £1.05p a match for the 59 subscription-only fixtures on Sky and BT, and £1.11 a game if you add a one-month Amazon subscription and their four games.
For the TV experience, you’ll have to pay for two months of Sky and two months of BT, coming to a total of £117.98 (£67.98+£50). (£2 a match subscription only).
Add the one month of Amazon’s £7.99 fee, it takes the overall amount to £125.97.
Now you know the cheapest way fans can watch all 92 remaining Premier League matches, you’re welcome!
