Teammates managed to quickly save Jack Grealish from falling off the open top bus at Man City’s boozy title parade on Sunday evening.
The team were celebrating their fourth consecutive league title by taking to the streets of Manchester. Grealish, known for his humorous antics, entertained the crowd once again.
However, he lost his balance on the bus, once with the bus at a standstill and then again shortly after when the vehicle started moving again.
The City players and staff were in high spirits as they celebrated their title win, which they secured on the final day of the 2023/24 Premier League season.
Just like last year, the parade was filled with lively scenes as Pep Guardiola and his team proudly displayed the trophy.
Grealish caught everyone’s attention during the previous year’s parade with in a memorable three-day celebration that got everyone talking, before capturing an iconic photo on top of the bus.
This year, however, a heart in mouth moment saw Grealish nearly have a disaster, coming dangerously close to falling off on two separate occasions.

In the first footage, a live stream, Jeremy Doku was fortunately there to save Grealish. Shortly after that, a different video surfaced on Twitter, once again capturing Grealish losing his balance, this particular footage was filmed from a fan’s viewpoint on the street.
Grealish and Rodri were seen standing together on the bus roof, joining in with the fans’ chants. As the bus started moving, both were pushed forward, though thankfully, Rodri quickly reached out to steady Grealish and prevent any mishaps.

Man City boss Pep Guardiola backs Jack Grealish to return to form after “struggles” this season.
The 28 year old played a big role in City’s historic Treble success for 2022/23, starting the FA Cup and Champions League final, but for 2023/24, Grealish hasn’t exactly been in form, a benchwarmer if anything.
He started both legs of the Champions League quarter-final defeat to Real Madrid, and featured for just 10 minutes in Man City’s five games in May, while an unused substitute in key Premier League games against Tottenham and West Ham and on the bench throughout the FA Cup final defeat by Man Utd.
Guardiola instead brought Jeremy Doku off the bench and the Belgium winger netted in the 2-1 defeat.
Despite struggling this term, Grealish has been named in Gareth Southgate’s initial 33-man squad, although cannot be certain of his place at Euro 2024.
Pep Guardiola doesn’t see any significant issues with his £100m record signing.
“He will be back,” he said.
“He’s struggled this season and Jeremy has made an incredible step forward as everyone has seen in the last games. But Jack will be back at the level of last season, I’m pretty sure.”
Jack Grealish believe Man City are again the favourites for the Premier League title next season.
Speaking to talkSPORT last week, he was asked if City are favourites for next season’s title. Grealish said: “We probably are at the moment, especially with the players that we have and the main thing – the manager. But listen, there are so many top teams in my opinion. It’ll be difficult but fingers crossed.”
On winning the Premier League with Man City, Grealish added: “Listen, as soon as I left Villa, which is one of the toughest decisions I ever had to make, I wanted to win stuff. I come here and fortunately we’ve won a lot. The Premier League was the main one I wanted to win, being from England and growing up here, it was just the one trophy I wanted to win.
“To win three in a row is just unbelievable. I’ll be honest when I signed here I didn’t think I was gonna win three in a row, but it has been unbelievable. I don’t take any of it for granted and hopefully there is more to come.”
This is how fans reacted after seeing teammates save Jack Grealish from falling off an open top bus at Man City’s boozy title parade…
