A video has been posted appearing to show Stockport County fans try to climb a wall and gain access into Chorley’s ground.
It looks to have happened as the players were doing their pre-match warm ups only for police to turn up behind the stands and turn them away as can be seen below in photos from the footage.
Despite quite a heavy police presence for the match, ready for the 1,260 travelling fans and the 2,000+ home fans, the is reported by the Lancashire Post that no major incidents took police in the ground or town centre. A few bottles were apparently thrown onto the pitch and of course fans trying to jump a wall but that seemed about it.

The game a much anticipated one as Chorley were one point behind league leaders Stockport with three games to go.
However it was the hosts that came out on top, beating the Hatters 2-0 and overtook them into first place and two points ahead.
Chorley went one up after just 14 minutes thanks to Andy Teague before the lead was doubled when Marcus Carver found the net near the halfway mark in the second half.
