The game itself as mentioned above saw Lincoln beat Yeovil 2-0 thanks to a double from Danny Rowe.

The first came in the 27th minute when Neal Eardley crossed to the near post and Rowe flicked the ball in.

Prior to half time, Michael O’Connor hit a through ball into Rowe, who sent Baxter the wrong way to get his and Lincoln’s second.

The result meant Danny Cowley’s men extended their lead at the top of the table to six points and have a game in hand over second place Bury, who play each other in a televised clash at the weekend.

Yeovil remained 20th in the League Two table, just three points from the relegation zone.
