Simon Mignolet tracks down Liverpool fan who asked for his shirt

Keeper Simon Mignolet has tracked down a fan who asked for his shirt during Belgium’s thrilling clash with Japan.

It saw Nacer Chadli score the winning goal in the 94th minute which completed the Belgians comeback from 3-0 down to 3-2.

As the supporters cheered in the stands at the final whistle, there was one fan wearing a Liverpool shirt holding up a sign asking for his shirt.

Mignolet, who was an unused substitute in the game, took to social media to track the fan down.

A couple of days later, he updated his followers, revealing that he had found him by sharing a photo of the two and thanked his fans for the help…

Simon Mignolet hasn’t played in any of his nation’s games in this summer’s World Cup and it is likely that will contunue due to Courtois’ brilliant form.
