The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, has launched a campaign with government help him stage public screenings across the capital if England make the last two rounds of the World Cup.
He is keen to host a screening for the semi-final and final, if England are still in the running, but has to get the support from the government officials.
There hasn’t been any locations revealed yet but it is likely that they could be at Trafalgar Square and Hyde Park which are regularly used for similar events and would be able to cater for thousands of fans.
Passion, perseverance.. and Pickford!

A spokesman for Khan said: ‘The Mayor thinks it would be absolutely fantastic if we could have a public screening of the World Cup semi-final and final if England make it all the way, and his team are in contact with Government officials to encourage them to work with City Hall to see if we can make that happen.
‘It would not be possible to hold a public screening safely in London without the Government’s support and we hope we can work together to find an appropriate public space to do so.’
If England beat Sweden, they will face the winners of Russia or Croatia in the semis, and if the Three Lions can do the business, they could face any of Uruguay, France, Brazil or Belgium.
