Round-up of recent kit reveals – 12th July

We’ve taken a look at some of the clubs who have recently revealed how they will look when they take to the field once more in August.

Recently, there have been many football kit unveilings from Premier League, Football League and Non League clubs.

Check out some of them and the reaction to them below and on the next few pages…

ASTON VILLA

The new home and away Aston Villa football shirt has been unveiled.

The latest home jersey features the more traditional claret colour – and there’s further strong nods to the past with William McGregor featuring on the back collar while the collar and cuff carry 12 stripes – signifying the founding members of the Football League.

The away jersey is a club classic with a modern twist, taking elements of the white strip that was donned on the night of our glorious European Cup victory of 1982. Aligning with the home shirt, McGregor and the 12 founding members are represented on the away jersey, as well as prominent claret rims on the sleeves and collar.

Fans can place their pre-orders for the new kits now.

NEWCASTLE UNITED

The new away Newcastle United football shirt has been unveiled.

Launched under #TheFabricOfNewcastle banner, the kit is a contemporary take on the Magpies’ iconic change strip worn during the 1995/96 season.

Featuring maroon and blue hoops, ivory shorts and maroon socks with a blue trim, the kit is complemented by a gold club crest and gold FUN88 branding.

Newcastle United’s brand new PUMA away kit will be available at the stadium store and at nufcdirect.com from 3rd August 2018.
