Riyad Mahrez’s estranged wife says she was ‘fined for being too hot’, and what a stir it’s caused from football fans on social media.

The 28 year old has said she was fined for ‘being too hot’ while breaking lockdown rules to attend an illegal party recently.

Rita Johal was among at least ten people found partying at a flat in London on Friday with footage showing the model surrounded by Metropolitan Police officers searching the flat.

She ended up getting slapped with a fine, captioning the uploaded footage: ‘Fine for being too hot. Loool we all got fined don’t worry about it sweetheart.’

The officers can be seen quizzing the guests about the illegal party, before Rita goes on a bizarre rant and asks the police: ‘Don’t you guys like to party anymore?’

A female officer can be heard telling her: ‘Not during lockdown.’

The model responded: ‘Guys, you can’t be all depressed in this world, we have got to be happy.’

The Premier League footballer’s ex-partner continued to rant, claiming ‘the one per cent is controlling us’ before shouting: ‘We are all in this together!’

She is then asked to give her name and then is punished, having to pay costs of at least £200 for playing her part at the party.

Responding to footage of the incident, Ms Johal has refused to apologise and claimed the officers were ‘heavy handed’.

She told The Sun on Sunday: ‘Oh for God’s sake. There wasn’t a lot of people there, there was like five people.

‘Why is this being run, what’s its purpose? To try and make my name look bad? Is that your guys’ plan?’

According to government rules, it is against the law to meet socially with friends or family members that are not in your household.

Police forces are entitled to hand out £200 fines for first-time rule-breakers, but this can double every time they are caught in an incident – for repeat offenders, they can be fined up to a maximum of £6,400.

Anyone found to be hosting an illegal gathering of more than 30 people can be given a separate £10,000 fine.

Johal, who has two children with Riyad Mahrez, lives in a £2million mansion based in Buckinghamshire, separated from the Manchester City star in 2019.

Meanwhile, she’s also selling saucy photos via her OnlyFans account, promising ‘exclusive content’ for £8 a month.

She uploaded a promotional video which features her posing for a series of intimate selfies before asking fans to subscribe.

She tells followers: “Swipe up right now to subscribe to my OnlyFans. I’ll be posting exclusive content I won’t be posing anywhere else – my music, pictures, videos, all of that exciting stuff.”

Rita has published 16 posts on the X-rated premium content site, including photos captioned ‘Lil bit of me’ and ‘Love to try it all’.
