PLAYER RATINGS: Huddersfield 1-0 Fulham – The Terriers claim first win of the season

Huddersfield Town have finally picked up their first win of the Premier League season by beating Fulham 1-0.

It was in the 39th minute that Christopher Schindler headed in the only goal of the game, the first at a home match for the Terriers since the 14th of April which was against Watford.

With 15 minutes left to go, Fulham, who have conceded 28 goals in 10 games, the most of any side in the Premier League, did get the ball in the back of the net, however Schurrle’s goal was ruled out after Aleksander Mitrovic was offside.

The Cottagers increased the pressure on Huddersfield to get an equaliser, but never found it and the result meant they fell to the bottom of the table with Huddersfield leaping above them to 18th.
