It has been confirmed this afternoon that Oldham Athletic have sacked manager Frankie Bunn, following their 6-0 defeat away at Carlisle United yesterday.
The former Latics player replaced Richie Wellens in June after they were relegated to League Two.
They were unbeaten in six league games but after getting beat by Exeter City and Carlisle, they currently sit 12th in League Two and 7 points off the playoffs.
