Nottingham Forest owner reveals he has coronavirus days after attending Millwall match which took place on Friday evening.
Evangelos Marinakis, who is majority owner of the Championship side and Olympiakos, said that he has got the deadly virus in a statement on his official Instagram page.
The Greek businessman insisted he was now following the advice of doctors regarding self-isolation after contracting coronavirus.
He posted: “The recent virus has ‘visited’ me and I felt obliged to let the public know.
“I feel good as I take all the necessary measures and I discipline to the doctors instructions. I strongly advise all my fellow citizens to do the same. I wish all a quick recovery.”

Fans have said that they even had photos with him on Friday for the game against Millwall. He also met with the squad. The correct precautions were not used and people from different households were meeting without the use of any safe PPE. There are plenty of sites like https://customlanyards4all.com/custom-face-mask/all-mask where coaches, players, and fans can buy suitable PPE, like face masks, to protect themselves and one another from this virus.
The entire team and staff are going to hospital to be tested to see if they have got it. Olympiacos expected to make a statement later.
“Champions of self-isolation, you’ll never sing that” etc and so on.

He also attended Olympiakos’ Europa League win at Arsenal on the 27th of February.
It’s already announced that Thursday’s Europa League game between Olympiacos and Wolves will be played in an empty stadium.
There are currently 89 people in Greece who have tested positive for Coronavirus. A many known, several European countries have seen a huge rise in confirmed cases this week.
Serie A has already suspended all their matches until April. Several European fixtures this week are to be played behind closed doors after a weekend many have already done so such at Juventus vs Inter Milan.
Fans gave their reaction on the Nottingham Forest owner as he reveals he has coronavirus…
So everyone who met him Friday ought to self isolate…..

Hyped for the ill-advised, coronavirus-themed goal celebrations from our lot. Uproar at Pride Park as Matty Cash wipes his nose on the pitch. Joe Lolley’s fake coughing fit makes it to the SSN ‘yellow bar’. Three-game ban for Lewis Grabban & his pretend hand-washing routine #nffc
