Non League player sends fan a letter to apologise for red card

A non league player has sent a letter to a supporter after he was shown a straight red for a two footed challenge on another player.

Runcorn Town fan Gary Littlemore received a handwritten letter from midfielder Harry Brazel who felt guilty for his actions, so apologised for his behaviour.

The letter read:

To Gary,

I just wanted to apologise for my behaviour on Saturday which led to my first half dismissal. The challenge was completely unacceptable and extremely unprofessional.

I have let myself down, my teammates down, my family down but most importantly you and the loyal RTFC fans down.

I promise I’ll make it up to you.

ps. here’s my matchday bobble.
