News has emerged this afternoon that National League South club Braintree Town have been deducted by a single point.
The National League Board has deducted one point from Braintree Town for fielding an ineligible player in National League South matches earlier this season.

The club admitted the charge and was found guilty of a breach of Rule 6.9 for its player Marc-Anthony Okoye playing whilst suspended by the Football Association.
The National League South table has been amended.
It sees Braintree now three points away from the playoff zone rather than two.
