Manchester United player Sergio Romero was involved in a car crash as he was on his way to training on Monday morning.
Pictures have emerged on Twitter of Romero, standing by the side of the road next to his smashed Lamborghini, which is believed to have been bought back in 2017, allegedly worth £170,000.
The collision occurred when the goalkeeper made his way to United’s Aon Training Complex in Carrington.
As can be seen in the media, the Lamborghini can be seen underneath a roadside barrier with footage taken from passers by also showing debris strewn across the road.
It was cold and icy night across much of the country with temperatures plummeting to just above freezing, with drivers needing to take extra care on the roads.
Romero was an unused substitute as United lost to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
There is miraculously no apparent signs of injury suffered to the second choice Red Devils shot stopper.

Sergio Romero made it out that car crash alive and without injuries, but I blame Paul Pogba, he's the leader in that team, it is his fault this had happened". pic.twitter.com/gL4LkTz3pe
