Manchester United launch a complaint against The Sun for their part in the attack on the house of club owner Ed Woodward which took place last month.
It may come as no surprise to many that they stoop to extraordinary lows in order to generate a story and get some publicity.
Now something seemed rather suspicious about the images of ‘fans’ with red flares before they were throw at Woodward’s home.
Whilst they showed the extend of how troubling and awful the shameful act was, but there was also something that just didn’t seem right about the very professional looking photos.
Bizarrely those who was part of attacks could be seen happy to pose for the cameras that were in fact sent there by The Sun, surely the culprits would be looking angry and for revenge in their so called protest.
Now things has taken a nasty turn after a BBC journalist reported that United have launched a complaint against The Sun in regards to their involvement with the whole affair.
2/2. “Not only did the journalist fail to discharge basic duty of a responsible member of society to report impending crime + avert potential danger + criminal damage, his presence both encouraged + rewarded perpetrators.”

Those at The Sun had knowledge of these attacks and failed in calling the police to prevent anything from happening, instead they took photos of it all.
Luckily Ed Woodward and his family weren’t in the house at the time.
Since the allegations, The Sun admits a reporter attended attack on Man Utd exec Vice-Chair Ed Woodward’s home after a tip-off & “vigorously defends its right to report. At no time was our reporter made aware of what was to take place nor incited it or encouraged any criminal activity.”
A spokesperson for The Sun said: “We have been made aware this evening of a complaint to IPSO by Manchester United.
“The Sun condemns fully the attack on Mr Woodward’s home and is happy to cooperate fully with any police inquiry.
“However The Sun, like all newspapers, vigorously defends its right to report.
“Following a tip-off that there was to be a protest a Sun reporter attended.
“The Sun accurately reported the events that unfolded. At no time was our reporter made aware of what was to take place nor incited it or encouraged any criminal activity. The article made it clear that the behaviour was criminal and unacceptable.
“The Sun supports wholeheartedly the Editors’ Code Of Conduct and will defend the complaint to IPSO.”
After finding out that Manchester United launch a complaint against The Sun, and the media outlet’s statement, fans gave their reaction…
Ah Liverpool and United fans 100% united behind this. Hope Man United absolutely rinse them in court if true!

Woodward also notified in advance too right? I mean why else would a family home be empty that time of night?
It's all a work I'm telling you.

Why didn’t they say they sent a reporter in the original article? Don’t journalists do interviews?
