Leeds United have recently revealed their new centenary club crest which will come into place from next season, to celebrate what will be 100 years since their formation.
It appeared on one of the club’s social media tweets and their website when advertising for season ticket renewals this week.

Ok it’s not a huge change, for now, although we wouldn’t be surprised if it’s changed again the following season as the club have been looking for a replacement in the last 12 months.
In February last year, Leeds United put out that horrid new crest design, but since then people have made and suggested other ideas forward.
There was widespread hate for the new ‘Leeds Salute’ logo that was planned to be used from the 2018/19 season, but 24 hours after the reveal, a petition was set up and signed by over 70,000 people calling for it to be got rid of.
After a u-turn from the club’s managing director Angus Kinnear, supporters and graphic designers have been making their own designs.
About the new centenary crest, a Leeds United spokesperson said, as quoted by the Yorkshire Evening Post: “The slightly modified crest will feature on the club’s 2019-20 kits and training range as well as a wide variety of exclusive centenary-led products and services. “The amendment has been made in order to add the words ‘Leeds United 100 years’ wording to the club badge.”
Since the new centenary crest was spotted on Leeds United’s social media pages and website, fans have given their reaction to it, most loved it, other weren’t so sure however – check out what they had to say on the next page.
