Leeds fans reeling as Brentford’s Canos faces no ban after ‘headbutt’ on Alioski

Leeds United supporters are left reeling on social media after finding out that Brentford midfielder Sergi Canos will not be banned after appearing to ‘headbutt’ Ezgjan Alioski.

The incident, which seemed to have been missed by the officials, happened during a scuffle in the Bees dugout during the teams’ 1-1 draw at Elland Road on Saturday.

Check out the ill-tempered moment below…

No action was taken against Canos, but the incident was referred to an FA panel, who today failed to agree on whether he should have been punished.

Whites fans were also left unimpressed following a decision from the referee to give Brentford a penalty after Ollie Watkins appeared to go down before contact with Peacock-Farrell was made.

“1-0 to the referee” was chanted around Elland Road throughout the game.

The Football Association are however asking Leeds to state their observations on their supporters throwing coins from the South Stand at Neal Maupay after he scored the penalty.

Leeds fans vented out their anger at Canos not being banned or punished for his headbutt on Alioski as well as the club being looking at for the coins being thrown towards Maupay after his penalty – check out those tweets on the next page.
