Josh Murphy scores a spectacular goal to help Norwich beat Aston Villa

Josh Murphy helped Norwich City pick up three points in a 3-1 win against Aston Villa in the Championship by curling in his 10th goal of the season.

It was from scored from 25 yards out and right into the top corner, and will no doubt be as good a goal as you will see all afternoon.

Dennis Srbeny was at the far post and made a cool sidefoot finish which doubled the Norwich lead.

A clever, bobbly low finish from Jack Grealish put Villa back in the game with 23 minutes left on the clock.

Just 5 minutes later, the Canaries restored the two goal advantage as James Maddison got a third.

The win put Norwich up to 12th, eight points off the playoffs although that’s before the 3pm kick offs.

Aston Villa remain 4th, six points away from Cardiff City who occupy that second promotion spot.
